Our chosen charity

24 hours a day
365 days a year
whatever the weather

Lighthouse Ultra is proud to support the volunteers of Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team. Every donation helps fund the people who answer the calls and risk their lives when adventurers need it most.

Why this matters

Lighthouse Ultra takes athletes through some of Britain's most spectacular landscapes. Behind every adventure a team of volunteers are ready to respond when things go wrong.

Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team provides search and rescue cover across the mountains and valleys surrounding Scafell Pike and the western lake District.

Every rescue is carried out by highly trained volunteers who give their time freely to help others.
