Lighthouse Ultra

The Journey
Lighthouses symbolise guidance, resilience and a safe passage - essential to navigating the coast to coast Lighthouse Ultra 180 triathlon, one of the toughest triathlons in the UK.
From Whitehaven to Whitby, athletes have three days to cross England through the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors National Parks.
The route combines a 40 mile run, 10 mile open water swim and 130 mile bike - an unforgettable 180 mile expedition across some of Britain's most iconic landscapes.
The lighthouses signal the beginning and the end. Everything in between relies on physical and mental strength, teamwork and the spirit of adventure.
Will you follow the light and discover your limits?
